T O P I C R E V I E WChildofVenusI feel that having this overlay in synastry really helps with communication. Someone's Venus is in my 3rd house and I like the way the person talks to me.RandallBump!belenlabrujaHi! This could be because of a number of things. If you have your Venus sign in Virgo or Gemini this placement could very well be romantic for you! Or if one of your romantic houses (houses 5, 7, 8) is ruled by mercury then this would also be a good romantic placement for you.I think a lot of people dislike the third house because it is not an inherently romantic house, and it is also a mutuable house. The mutuable houses are not seen as favorable, as say the fixed houses, because they are not stable and therefore not conducive to long term relationships. It's all about communication, siblings, neighbors etc etc. However! If you have one of the above placements then this would all change. For example, my 7th house is in Gemini with my sun, moon, and Venus all posted up in it. That would then bring the third house (natural house of gemini) into focus in my relationships. Any planets in my third house would be indirectly activating my 7th house of relationships It could also be a number of other things. You should post your chart ChildofVenus quote:Originally posted by belenlabruja:Hi! This could be because of a number of things. Because he has a Gemini Descendant and in synastry my Moon falls in his 3rd house. RandallBump!Dumuzii really like when people have planets in my 3rd, i have 3 planets there (sag uranus, cap neptune, cap mars) if they have a planet conjunct my uranus then it's also probably sextile my venus/ascendant, trine my mercury, and trine my moon/descendantif it's conjunct neptune then it's likely trine my sun sextile my pluto and/or possibly conjunct my mars (my mars-neptune are 9 degrees apart)if it's conjunct my mars though it's possibly square my venus/ascendant and moon/descendant which isnt necessarily bad but i've noticed i prefer sextiles to my mars over conjunctionsalso depending on what side of my mars their planets fall on they could hit my ic (my mars is 9 degrees from my ic) i prefer sag energy in my 3rd house to cap i've noticed, but i think it's because if it's sag then it's probably hitting my ascendant/descendant axis in a positive way and my moon-venus-uranus-mercury kite rather than a hard aspect to my ascendant/descendant and my moon-venus-mars t-squareRandallBump!

if they have a planet conjunct my uranus then it's also probably sextile my venus/ascendant, trine my mercury, and trine my moon/descendant
if it's conjunct neptune then it's likely trine my sun sextile my pluto and/or possibly conjunct my mars (my mars-neptune are 9 degrees apart)
if it's conjunct my mars though it's possibly square my venus/ascendant and moon/descendant which isnt necessarily bad but i've noticed i prefer sextiles to my mars over conjunctions
also depending on what side of my mars their planets fall on they could hit my ic (my mars is 9 degrees from my ic)
i prefer sag energy in my 3rd house to cap i've noticed, but i think it's because if it's sag then it's probably hitting my ascendant/descendant axis in a positive way and my moon-venus-uranus-mercury kite rather than a hard aspect to my ascendant/descendant and my moon-venus-mars t-square
